Stearyl Palmitate is an excellent ingredient to manage final formula viscosity, skin-feel and stability in various temperatures. Stearyl Palmitate is derived from RSPO palm oil and stearyl alcohol. Stearyl Palmitate and Lauryl Laurate function similarly, but Lauryl Laurate has a much lower melting point, making a softer finished product.

Stearyl Palmitate is used in skin care, hair care, cosmetics and soap making.

Stearyl Palmitate is easy to use with a low melting point, making it ideal to blend with natural plant based butters and oils.

Short Term Storage: Air tight container. Dark location. Cool room temperature.

Long Term Storage: Removing air from storage container will delay oxidation and rancidity (may need to place in a smaller container). Refrigeration can extend shelf life.

Shelf Life Once Used in Manufacturing: One year from manufacturing date.
