SLSA Sodium Lauryl Solfoacetate Powder (Fine)
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA) is a natural powder surfactant ideal for body care products.
We here at Shay and Company have diligently worked to source the purest, highest quality salt and soak ingredients. These bath crystals can be used to make body scrubs, face scrubs, bath bombs, bath fizzies, shower steamers, foot soaks, and so much more.
We carry a variety of natural bath soaks and salts from Epsom, pink Himalayan salts, and Dead Sea salts. We have pure magnesium flakes to increase the absorbable percentage of magnesium in your bath products. We also have several other exfoliants to add in for more scrubbing action.
We carry a variety of foaming agents: powder, needles, noodles, and foaming bath whip, along with liquid Cocamidopropyl Betaine to boost your bubbles!
We have bonding ingredients such as cream of tartar and non-GMO corn starch; active ingredients such as sodium bicarbonate; and a fine grade citric acid.
You can feel confident in the quality of bath crystals and salts for your products.
Dry products are sold in 1-pound, 5-pound, and 50+ pound sizes. Liquid products are sold in 4oz up to 55 gallons. Please email for bulk bath salt orders of 500 pounds or more.

Cold-pressed and virgin oils keep more of the plant's colour, scent and unsaponifiables, which makes them the better choice for leave-on skin and hair products. Refined oils are filtered for a lighter colour, neutral scent and longer shelf life — the safer pick for soap, candles and anything you intend to scent yourself. Expeller-pressed sits between the two: mechanically pressed with no solvents, but heat is generated in the process.
Refined avocado, apricot kernel and babassu cover most cold-process recipes — a soft oil, a light conditioning oil and a hard oil for bar firmness. Babassu is our recommended palm alternative.
Yes. Every shipment lists its lot number on the invoice, and a COA — plus a GC/MS report where applicable — is available on request for any lot. Our USDA Organic handler certificate is renewed annually and linked in the footer.
