Bulk Organic St John’s Wort Flowers can be used as they are in bath soaks, facial steamers or you can use them to make your own tonics and oil extractions. St John’s Wort has high levels of antioxidants and strong antibacterial properties. 

St John’s Wort, when applied to the skin, can help to soothe inflamed skin, calm rashes, help soothe eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and can help reduce itchiness on the scalp. You can incorporate St John’s Wort oil extract into any of your hair care products, including shampoo and conditioners, and hair and scalp treatments such as dandruff and scalp dermatitis. 

St John’s Wort is also an excellent addition to any wound salve or skin calming salve! This would go great in a blend with our Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Beeswax, Organic Castor Oil and then additives such as Organic Tamanu Oil, Organic Rosehip Seed Oil, and Organic Avocado Oil. 

Facial steaming products are becoming very popular and these dried organic st johnΓÇÖs wort flowers would make a great facial steamer. If you haven’t seen them, facial steaming products are dried ingredients that a customer sprinkles into hot, steamy water in a bowl. Then they place their face directly over the bowl and allow their skin and face to absorb the fragrant steam. Oftentimes it is recommended to put a towel draped over the back of the head to keep the steam from escaping. Adding ingredients such as Organic Arnica, Organic Calendula, Organic Lavender Buds, Organic Comfrey, and Organic Aloe would make a powerful herbal blend. If you’re creating a dry facial steam product, you will add your liquid products (essential oils, carrier oils) to the salts, then add the pre-scented salts to your other dry ingredients. Don’t try to scent the dried herbs; those smell lovely just on their own.

You can also use this organic st john’s wort to create your own tinctures. Tinctures can be made using a variety of bases, such as organic witch hazel, glycerin or an organic carrier oil.
