Magnesium hydroxide powder functions as an absorbent in your skincare formulas. The superb absorption properties make it a perfect ingredient for natural deodorants!

Our wholesale magnesium hydroxide powder is 100% natural and made from Calcium Hydroxide and De-Gassed Sea Water. This makes it a cool addition to Sodium Bicarbonate, Tapioca Starch, or Arrowroot Powder to help combat sweat and odor in your natural deodorant.

The oil absorption properties also make magnesium hydroxide an excellent ingredient to use for cosmetics, facial masks, body scrubs, creams, lotions, lotion bars, salt bars, hair masks, etc. Body creams, butter, and lotions that incorporate magnesium hydroxide powder can have a lighter, less oily feel.

Please note that magnesium hydroxide powder is not the same as Pure Magnesium Flakes or Magnesium Sulfate. Magnesium hydroxide powder is commonly known as ΓÇ£milk of magnesiaΓÇ¥ and is taken internally to help with digestive powders. Magnesium hydroxide powder will work wonders in your natural deodorants, and in topical products where you want to help decrease oil on the skin, but it is not a substitute for Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt) or Pure Magnesium Flakes.
